At Goatlandia, we’ve always opened our hearts to animals in need—and sometimes, that includes more than just goats. After the LA fires, we teamed up with partners in Southern California and helped rehome 14 surrendered cats. Thanks to YOU, our amazing community, each of those kitties found love, comfort, and a second chance.
Now, We’ve Been Called to Help Again!
An elderly woman in Grass Valley is overwhelmed with a growing colony of cats. What started with just a couple of unfixed kitties quickly turned into 20—and with climate change accelerating breeding cycles, the problem is only growing. Many of these cats are young, some just five months old, already having litters of their own. We’ve committed to rescuing, spaying/neutering, fostering, and rehoming these sweet cats—but we can’t do it alone.

Not ready to adopt but still want to make a difference? Fostering gives cats a safe, loving space while they wait for their forever homes. It’s one of the most impactful ways to help.
