Internships:

Goatlandia is a 501(c)(3) farm animal sanctuary, where we believe in a world where compassion leads the way for animals, people, and the earth we all share. We rescue farm animals in need, educate on the impact of our choices, and empower people to live more sustainably through connection, community, and seriously good plant-based food.

Our sanctuary in Sebastopol, CA cares for over 150 animals, including goats, sheep, horses, chickens, ducks, geese, alpaca, guardian dogs, barn cats, and peafowl.

Our volunteer internship program has continuous opportunities in animal care, events & outreach, and program assistance. It’s perfect for those interested in gaining knowledge and experience in sanctuary/nonprofit operations, large animal care, veterinary care, etc.

Scheduling is flexible, and we ask for a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week for 3 months. At this time we do not offer onsite housing.

If you’re passionate about our mission and would like to apply for an internship, please email us at: info@goatlandia.org and tell us a little bit about yourself and why you’d like to intern with us.
