The Thrifty Goat Resale Shop and donation space is between Solful and Ochoa’s, sharing a parking lot with The Legacy arts and crafts thrift shop OPENING LATE MAY 2026!

Beginning in May - when The Thrifty Goat’s donation area is ready to receive - we will happily accept your gently used items. Stay tuned for donation receiving days in early May.

  • We gratefully accept items that are usable, sellable, clean, complete and in working order.

  • Clothing, shoes, accessories

  • Jewelry and watches

  • Home goods, housewares, small appliances, linens

  • Tools, garden supplies

  • Books, toys, games, puzzles

  • Antiques, music, art, collectables

Due to space limitations and safety concerns, we cannot accept:

  • Large items (large furniture, appliances, exercise equipment, mattresses, etc.)

  • Baby equipment (cribs, bassinets, carseats, boosters, playpens, etc.)

  • Fur coats, taxidermy items, bed pillows

  • Electronics (computers, laptops, cell phones, TV’s, medical equipment, etc.)

  • Hazardous materials, chemicals, weapons

  • Window blinds, draperies or rods

Help now to prepare The Thrifty Goat for opening!

Wish list Items needed prior to opening include:

  • Microfiber cleaning cloths, washable, reusable  - we need dozens

  • Small towels, washable, reusable - we need dozens

  • Wood soap, Murphy’s brand or similar - we need 2 bottles to start

  • Buckets with handle and sturdy base, 1-3 gallon sizes - we need 4

  • Spray bottles for mixed cleaning solution - we need at least 4

  • White vinegar, gallon-size - we need 2 to start

We are also looking for a few more larger items. Please contact The Thrifty Goat’s manager michelle@goatlandia.org if you can help with the following:

  • Table-top display stands, wooden boxes for display, jewelry displays

  • Full-length mirror for dressing room  

  • Other display cases or cabinets 

Items donated to The Thrifty Goat become the property of Goatlandia and can be used, sold or disposed of at our discretion.
